Responses to Moby-Dick can take almost any original form (artistic or critical, individual or collaborative).
- FOR THE PRINT PRODUCTION OF REMAKING MOBY-DICK, please select one of the uncommitted chapters, write (or create an image) to remake the chapter, and submit your text or image via Submittable. DEADLINE: September 15, 2013.
- FOR THE SECOND SCREENING OF THE EXPANDED REMAKING MOBY-DICK, please select one of the uncommitted chapters, create a video response that remakes it, load it to YouTube with the chapter number in its title, and email the link to remakingmoby at gmail dot com. DEADLINE: October 15, 2013.
RESPONSE GUIDELINES
Responses should either engage ideas specific to separate chapters or passages in Moby-Dick or critically interpret some aspect of the novel, extending the meaning and significance of Moby-Dick and reflecting on its continued relevance.
