If you're a cooperative member who's building a new home with an electric heat pump or replacing a heat pump in an older home you would qualify for a free water heater.  If you are replacing a gas water heater, you would also qualify for a free water heater.

If you are replacing an old electric water heater, you are eligible to purchase a water heater for 1/2 of the cooperative's wholesale cost.

Water heaters are available in 40 and 50 gallon standard models as well as a 40 gallon lowboy model and a 40 gallon table-top model.

Sizes and pricing are as follows:

• 40 gallon lowboy (23" X 31 and 1/2") - $285.56
• 40 gallon standard (20 and 1/4" X 48 and 1/4") - $266.68
• 40 gallon table-top (25" X 24" X 36") - $520.97
• 50 gallon standard (20 and 1/4" X 58 and 5/8") - $273.76

You may purchase and pick up a water heater between the hours of  7:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and then have it installed by any plumber, or you may do it yourself. The cost of the water heater can be added to your electric bill in six monthly installments with approved credit.
